Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement as the Ketanji Brown Jackson hearings begin:
“Americans will be watching this week as Joe Biden’s nominee must address unanswered questions regarding her radical record, praise of Critical Race Theory, and soft-on-crime sentencing. Ketanji Brown Jackson is the far-left activist judge that Joe Biden promised to nominate, and that out-of-touch agenda will be on full display for the American people this week.”
Congratulations to all of the Black Republican candidates who made history Tuesday night winning their state-wide and local elections across the country.
Republican trailblazer Winsome Sears defied the odds to become the first Black woman elected to serve as Virginia’s Lieutenant Governor.
Looking for a major cause of the spike in crime in our nation’s cities? Look no further than the devastating impacts Democrats’ defund the police efforts have had on officer morale. “Morale is as bad as it has ever been before. We’re dealing with rioting at a level and a sustained violence that we’ve never seen before. We’re looking at the most catastrophic staffing levels we’ve ever seen,“ says Portland Police Association Executive Director Daryl Turner.
Although Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation more than two years earlier, it wasn’t until this day in 1865 that Union General Gordon Granger was able to get to Galveston, Texas to let those remaining enslaved Americans know the Civil War was over and all slaves were free. The Republican Party will always be proudly connected to Juneteenth because of President Lincoln’s leadership, and we enthusiastically welcome its adoption as our newest national holiday after President Trump called for it last year.
Democrats have been talking a big game on proposed new anti-Asian hate crime legislation S. 937, the COVID 19 Hate Crimes Act.
Republican Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and John Kennedy (R-LA) proposed an amendment to the legislation that would prohibit federal funding for schools that discriminate against Asian Pacific Americans in their admissions process.
A note from Fairfax GOP Chairman Steve Knotts: “Fellow Republicans, please take a moment to read this important update from Virginia GOP Chairman Richard L. Anderson, Republican National Committeewoman Patti Lyman and Republican National Committeeman Morton C. Blackwell. Virginia Republicans are fortunate to have such principled conservative leaders who forthrightly stand with President Donald J. Trump and his agenda for continued national greatness.”
On Saturday the 19th, a well-attended “Trump Train” parade of cars made its way from Prince William to Fairfax County. “They were majestic on the road and very eye-catching,” noted Epoch Times reporter Lynn Lin.
At the parade’s starting point, RNC co-chairman Tommy Hicks rallied participants. “Wow, this is amazing,” Hicks said. “Do you think Joe Biden has anything like this?”
