Fairfax County Republican Priscilla DeStefano was featured this week on ChoiceMedia.tv, the nation’s “education homepage.” Ms. DeStefano, who ran last year for the Board of Education, lauded President Donald Trump’s recent comments on the moral imperative of school choice.
“A child’s ZIP code in America should never determine their future, and that’s what was happening,” President Trump said
On Tuesday, county schools finally attempted to reopen online. Chaos ensued. Technical issues locked many students out. Other students who could access their virtual classrooms reportedly faced extreme profanity and harassment.
Ultimately, FCPS decided to cancel instruction for yet another week
