Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears joined Thursday’s edition of Fox & Friends to discuss the Left’s efforts to harass and intimidate U.S. Supreme Court justices. “This is mob rule,” Sears lamented. “This is America, we don’t do this.”
Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano has rebuffed calls to establish security perimeters around the homes of justices who reside in the county. Sears blasted Descano as well as the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors for their continued refusal to enforce Virginia law.
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement as the Ketanji Brown Jackson hearings begin:
“Americans will be watching this week as Joe Biden’s nominee must address unanswered questions regarding her radical record, praise of Critical Race Theory, and soft-on-crime sentencing. Ketanji Brown Jackson is the far-left activist judge that Joe Biden promised to nominate, and that out-of-touch agenda will be on full display for the American people this week.”
At a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Tuesday, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) lamented the Biden Administration’s suppression of domestic energy production — even as the Administration continues to allow the importation of oil and gas from Russia.
“It is astounding that we are buying 600,000 barrels of oil and gas a day from Russia,” Blackburn said. “This Administration, because of killing the Keystone Pipeline and locking down the energy sector, they are funding Putin’s war.”
Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin and Attorney General-elect Jason Miyares today announced their intent to challenge the unconstitutional vaccine mandate imposed by President Biden’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
“The COVID-19 pandemic has caused heartbreaking health, societal, and economic loss and suffering throughout the Commonwealth and the United States. Our children have experienced severe learning loss and developmental challenges that will last decades, strained and stressed hospital systems are suffering from an historic staffing crisis, and a crippled supply chain has driven up Virginians’ cost of living.
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on Biden’s continued failure to “shut down the virus” as he promised:
“Biden failed to ‘shut down the virus’ like he promised. By lying, shifting blame, and refusing to accept responsibility for his incompetence, Biden has lost all credibility and trust from the American people. Biden’s fearmongering, misinformation about Operation Warp Speed, and unconstitutional mandates will not shut down the virus.
“It was another disappointing month for the Biden Administration concerning jobs,” Project 21 noted last week. “The November unemployment report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics vastly underperformed economists’ expectations. Only 210,000 jobs were created – far below the predicted 573,000.”
Winsome Sears, Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, joined CPAC NOW’s “America Uncancelled” program Wednesday night. Drawing on her own background in the U.S. Marines, Sears addressed the Biden Administration’s utterly botched military withdrawal from Afghanistan. The candidate emphasized the need to support the many veterans who live in our Commonwealth.
Former CIA Director and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is thanking and praising our troops, while lamenting the Biden Administration’s utter bungling of the nation’s long-awaited military withdrawal from Afghanistan. “Our young men and women did amazing work there, and it was time to get our team home,” Pompeo tweeted Tuesday afternoon. “We could have done it in a way that would have reflected well on America and would have protected the interests we had.”
No one could blame the average person whose eyes glaze over at hearing that in this first day in office, President Biden signed a barrage of executive orders (EOs). Yet, the U.S. Department of Education is using two of these executive orders, 12866 and 13563, which on the face have the stated purpose of modernizing regulatory review, to push critical race theory in our local schools.
This past year, I’ve watched COVID attack every rung of the ladder that helped me up.
So many families have lost parents and grandparents too early. So many small businesses have gone under. Becoming a Christian transformed my life — but for months, too many churches were shut down.
Most of all, I am saddened that millions of kids have lost a year of learning when they could not afford to lose a day.
