Fairfax County Donors, Volunteers “Feed the Troops”
Last month, the Fairfax GOP announced its “Help Feed Our Troops” initiative. The effort raised $6,294.44, which allowed volunteers to pack 1,464 snack packs into 61 boxes. Every bag of goodies was signed by a volunteer, along with a hand-written message of gratitude. The food was delivered to U.S. troops stationed in D.C. earlier this month by volunteer project manager Chris Addams. To all who donated or helped in any way: THANK YOU!
