Anh Tu Do Blasts Kathy Tran’s Anti-Life Extremism
Freshman Delegate Kathy Tran (D-46) introduced a bill that would have legalized abortion, for “mental health” reasons, through all nine months of pregnancy — even when “it’s obvious that a woman is about to give birth.” Ms. Tran’s bill mimics a law that was enacted last week in New York State.
In reality, Ms. Tran’s bill has nothing to do with “women’s health,” but everything to do with satisfying Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. Planned Parenthood recently spent millions of dollars to elect Democrats nationwide — and the abortion giant obviously wants a big return on that investment.
Anh Tu Do, vice president of the DC area’s Vietnamese Women’s Association, blasted Ms. Tran on Wednesday. “Delegate Kathy Tran is an embarrassment to the Vietnamese community,” Ms. Do said. “She has been used as a pawn by the Democrats and Planned Parenthood to promote their main money-making cause: abortion. Even though Democrat Tran has four children of her own, she has no problem advocating for the killing of the unborn even right before delivery. This is pure evil.”
Ms. Tran’s bill — which had 21 co-sponsors — was ultimately defeated by Republicans in the House of Delegates.
