President Trump Endorses Corey Stewart for Senate, Calls Tim Kaine a ‘Stiff’
Woodbridge, VA – President Donald Trump tweeted his endorsement of Corey Stewart, the newly nominated Republican choice to challenge Tim Kaine for U.S. Senate in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
“Congratulations to Corey Stewart for his great victory for Senator from Virginia. Now he runs against a total stiff, Tim Kaine, who is weak on crime and borders, and wants to raise your taxes through the roof,” Trump tweeted early Wednesday upon returning from his historic summit in Singapore with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
“Don’t underestimate Corey, a major chance of winning!” the tweet said.
The president struck an optimistic note on behalf of Mr. Stewart’s prospects while throwing…

The long Republican primary season—with its inherent airing of political differences among Republicans—is over. The time has now come for all Republicans to unite behind our nominees and work vigorously to help them defeat the Democrats in November’s general election. Fairfax County Republican Committee must focus unflagging energy on accomplishing that mission over the next five months.

Reminder: The Republican primaries will take place at all Fairfax County voting locations on Tuesday, June 12. Polls open at 6:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM.
Three Republican candidates—Nick Freitas, E.W. Jackson, and Corey Stewart—are vying for the Republican nomination to challenge Democrat Senator Tim Kaine in the November general election to be one of Virginia’s two senators in Congress.
Two Republican candidates—incumbent Congresswoman Barbara Comstock and challenger Shak Hill—are seeking the Republican nomination for Congress from Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.
Thomas Oh and Jeff Dove are the only Republicans who are running for Congress in the 8th and 11th Congressional Districts respectively, and thus there is no need for Republican primaries for Congress in those two districts.
The primaries on Tuesday are the way that Fairfax County Republicans can influence who will be the Republican candidates that oppose the Democrats in the general election this fall. Don’t miss this opportunity to cast your ballot for who you think will best represent Fairfax County in Congress.
We still need help! On a related note, we are still seeking volunteers to staff the polling places on Tuesday for the purpose of handing out GOP literature and signing up potential volunteers for Fairfax County Republican Committee support. If you are interested in helping out, please contact your Magisterial District Chairman or call the FCRC office at 703-766-2401.

The Educational Employees’ Supplementary Retirement System of Fairfax County (ERFC) was established July 1, 1973, to provide an independent retirement plan for Fairfax County Public Schools’ personnel as a supplement to the primary benefits they earn and receive separately from the Virginia Retirement System (VRS) and Social Security.
Currently, at age 55 after 30 years of working for FCPS, a retiring employee’s yearly pension amount paid by the VRS comes to about 50% of that person’s average pay based on his/her 5 highest-paid years. Normally, Social Security benefits would equate to around 25% of a person’s income earned during those 30 years of County employment at “full retirement” age, now 67 for new FCPS hires. The ERFC supplement was designed to make up for losing that 25% by retiring prior to age 67. In essence, retiring FCPS employees receive 75% of their pay at age 55. However, the County now…
Just when you think the Democrat Party has hit rock bottom, they begin to drill deeper. The latest successful effort at self-flagellation is a slanderous and bizarre TV advertisement by the Democrat candidate for Congress from the 10th Congressional District of Virginia, Dan Helmer. In his political ad, Helmer narrates that the biggest threat to our democracy since Osama Bin Laden is President Trump. He really said that! See for yourself at link below.
This Democrat touts himself as an Iraq combat veteran—thank you for your service, Sir—but it appears he may have suffered a blow to the head or some other injury that has distorted his judgment. First off, we do not live in a Democracy; we live in a constitutional Republic. Putting that aside, wasn’t it Barack Hussein Obama who unconstitutionally opened the border to illegal aliens via his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents ( DAPA) programs? Wasn’t it Obama who…

Jeff Dove, Republican candidate for VA-11 just published an excellent OP-ED in The Republican Standard about school safety and issue that every Fairfax County family can related to:
Our nation is facing a disease that must be addressed swiftly and judiciously. As a father of a young daughter, it is heart-wrenching every time a new school shooting or a mass shooting occurs. Parents, children, and Americans should not have to worry about their safety or the safety of a loved one in their daily routine. Our leaders have failed us as Americans, and they have also failed their mission to protect their constituents.
This is not the time for partisan politics, political games, or electioneering. It is time for real …
Congratulations to the Hunter Mill Republicans for signing up over 100 volunteers at their ViVa! Vienna!* tent over the Memorial Day Weekend. District Chairman Amanda Morris organized a team of 17 volunteers to staff the Republican tent, which was located midway down Vienna’s Church Street in the heart of the celebration. Along with those who signed up to help the Republican Party, hundreds of …
