Congratulations to the Hunter Mill Republicans for signing up over 100 volunteers at their ViVa! Vienna!* tent over the Memorial Day Weekend.
District Chairman Amanda Morris organized a team of 17 volunteers to staff the Republican tent, which was located midway down Vienna’s Church Street in the heart of the celebration.
Along with those who signed up to help the Republican Party, hundreds of others stopped by the tent to inquire about Republican positions and to voice their support for President Trump and the GOP in general.
The volunteers persuasively and persistently presented the Republican message of limited Constitutional government, reduced government spending and taxation, increased parental involvement in education, and improved public safety.
Amanda and her team also handed out campaign literature—written in Spanish, Korean, and Vietnamese as well as Englishlanguages—for Republican candidates running for the Senate and the three Congressional seats that represent parts of Fairfax County. One visitor to the tent volunteered to translate the literature into Mandarin.
The tent included photographs of President Trump and Vice President Pence and a life-size cardboard cutout of President Trump, plus miniature American flags and bubble balloons for the kids.
The Hunter Mill Republicans made a strong showing at ViVa! Vienna! and proved once again that effectively delivered Republican messages resonate with Fairfax County residents.
Hundreds of thousands of Republicans, and Republicans who don’t know they are Republicans, reside in Fairfax County. Indeed, through active engagement with these sizable numbers of Republicans, the GOP can win in Fairfax County.
Thanks much to Amanda and her team for demonstrating how a bold and imaginative display of the GOP colors can generate support for the Republican Party in the county.
