Walkinshaw resigned following his election to the U.S. House of Representatives for Virginia’s 11th Congressional District. \nDetails for the Braddock Supervisor special election\n\nVoters: Only registered residents of the Braddock District are eligible to vote.\nCandidates:\n\nThe Republican candidate is Ken Balbuena.\n\n\nThe Democratic candidate will be the winner of a primary being held on October 4\, 2025.\n\n\n\n\nVoting dates:\n\nEarly voting: Opens on October 24\, 2025\, and closes at 5:00 p.m. on December 6\, 2025.\nElection Day: Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on December 9\, 2025.
