He retired after 40 years as a computer programmer. He and his late wife\, Carol\, moved to Vienna in 1976. They have two children\, who attended Fairfax County Public Schools grades K-12\, and eight grandchildren. For 29 years\, he has been president of the Fairfax County Taxpayers Alliance and testifies regularly at Board of Supervisors and school board budget hearings. He’s been a Republican candidate multiple times since 1995\, the most recent being for state senate against Janet Howell in 2019 and for county chairman against Jeff McKay in 2023. He teaches a weekly ESL class at the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library. \n
