Please join the Evangelical Outreach Team for our August virtual meeting with special guest speaker, the Director of Family Research Council Action, Matt Carpenter. Matt will discuss the recent GOP Platform changes and its impact on the pro life and pro family movement. He will also share what Evangelicals and churches can do during this election cycle to impact the vote for Christ.
Matt’s Bio:
Matt Carpenter serves as Director of FRC Action, where he is responsible for overseeing FRC Action activities, including voter education and mobilization, as well as various candidate support and election efforts. Under the direction of the Vice President for FRC Action, Matt works with pastors, Family Policy Councils, allied organizations, and the grassroots. Before joining FRC Action, Matt worked as the Deputy Director of State and Local Affairs for Family Research Council, where he was responsible for educating state policymakers on legislation relating to life, marriage and family structure, and religious liberty. He also worked in the former Florida Governor Rick Scott’s Office of Policy and Budget as a legislative and budget analyst, and on several political campaigns at the federal and state level. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Roanoke College in Virginia. Matt currently lives with his family in Florida.
