Fairfax GOP Chairman Tim Hannigan strongly condemned the use of “vile, anti-Semitic imagery,” after it was revealed that a county high school teacher lauded her student’s drawing of a “hook-nosed” Jewish man holding a bag of money.
Fairfax GOP Chairman Tim Hannigan was on DC’s WMAL yesterday, discussing transgender ideology in the region’s public elementary schools. The interview focused largely on news from Arlington, where Kindergartners in Ashlawn Elementary School are now subjected to lessons about transgenderism and other highly sensitive matters.
Fairfax County Republican Chairman Tim Hannigan is calling for stronger parental consent laws regarding Family Life Education, after the Washington Post revealed how a public school in Arlington is teaching Kindergartners about transgenderism and other sensitive issues.
As FLECAC members, we have reviewed the content of every lesson from K-12 in the curriculum, which contains sexually explicit and ideological content that goes far beyond the basics of sexual reproduction. Yet, most parents are unaware of this content
*rescheduled* ACAT Exposes Communist / Socialist Influence on Education, FCRC Meeting, 1/15 at 7:30PM
Fairfax County Republican Committee
Membership Meeting, Tuesday 1/15
The Anticommunism Action Team (ACAT) will review how communist/socialist ideology and tactics have adversely influenced American education at the Fairfax County Republican Committee meeting scheduled for 7:30 – 8:45 PM on Tuesday, January 15, at the James Madison High School Auditorium, 2500 James Madison Drive, Vienna, VA 22181.
The Anticommunism Action Team is an independent, unaffiliated grassroots group of concerned citizens. Its mission is “to discredit communist ideology and counter communist influence here and abroad.” Led by Chris Wright, a lawyer and liberty activist, the group offers experienced speakers, news updates, opinion articles, videos, an informative website, and even a college course—all focused on exposing “the false allure of communism.”
At our FCRC meeting, Mr. Wright and journalist Alex Newman (via video) will examine:
*The role of committed socialist and humanist John Dewey in shaping America’s public school system.
*Charlotte Iserbyt’s heroic work in unearthing evidence of American education betrayal that she documented in her book, “The Deliberate Dumbing
Down of America.”
*How American education has been taken over by the Left.
Come to the FCRC meeting and hear how the Left’s takeover of America’s education system is harming our children and setting the stage for
A group of voters in Mason District have filed a petition seeking the removal of Fairfax County School Board member Sandra Evans. The petition garnered 1307 signatures, representing more than 10% of the voters in Mason District. The petition seeks Evans’ removal from the School Board:
For neglect of duty, misuse of office, or incompetence in the performance of duties when that neglect of duty, misuse of office, or incompetence in the performance of duties has a material adverse effect upon the conduct of the office” per Virginia Code Section 24.2-332.
The petition states Ms. Evans ignored the FCPS survey of students and community that soundly rejected (56% No, 35% Yes, 8% NA) a name change for J.E.B. Stuart H.S. In addition, Ms. Evans would not even consider “Stuart” as a proposed new name but moved to rename the school “Justice High School,” disregarding the voters’ second and third place choices, as well.
Ms. Evans announced yesterday that she will not run for reelection to the School Board seat she currently occupies in next year’s County-wide elections. The Fairfax County Republican Committee supports both the petition

One of the most liberal school systems in the country wants parents to know that boys and girls are built differently. Except when that truth is not politically convenient.
The Fairfax County (Virginia) School Board announced an upcoming workshop for parents. It’s called “Jack’s Brain, Jill’s Brain: Gender Differences and Why They Matter.” The workshop will feature child psychologists discussing how “girls and boys learn differently.” Apparently, “rapidly emerging research” shows that “the brains of females and males are developmentally, structurally and functionally different.”
But, do they really mean this? After all, this is the school board that voted to teach children that biological sex is meaningless.
A Search-and-Destroy Mission
Last spring by a vote of 10-2, the nation’s 10th largest school system made a search-and-destroy mission through its 80 hours of Sex Ed (per student). Every reference to human beings having a “biological sex” of male or female was removed. Children are now taught that “sex is assigned at birth” and subject to change.
More and more parents are exercising choice in their selection of education for their children. In North Carolina, removal of charter school caps, creation of vouchers, and expansion of programs for special needs children have resulted in almost 20% of school children enrolled in a school other than public schools. Public school enrollment has dropped over 5% since 2010 as an increasing number of parents are seeking alternatives to public education.
However, what about the teachers? Teachers are limited in…
