1. Annual Fairfax City July 4th Parade. Please walk with Jeff Dove, the Republican candidate running in the 11th Congressional District for the U.S. House of Representatives, in this downtown Fairfax City parade. Jeff is seeking to defeat Democrat incumbent Gerry Connolly in the fall election.
Jeff Dove and fellow Republicans are in the parade’s Division 7 and will form up on West Street, at 9:30 AM, on Wednesday, July 4. A map of the forming location and the parade route is available HERE.

2. 47th National Fourth of July Conservative Soiree. Enjoy Leadership Institute’s annual July 4th celebration this year at Occoquan Regional Park, 9751 Ox Road, Lorton, VA 22079. The event begins at 11:00 AM and goes until 3:00 PM. Guest speakers will include Morton Blackwell, President of Leadership Institute; Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform; and Delegate Nick Freitas (R, VA-30).
Events will include a wine and beer garden, barbeque, bluegrass music, and kids’ activities – all free. Read more about it and RSVP here.

3. VA’s 8th District / Alexandria City Congressional and Council Candidates VFW Charity Forum. Please support Thomas Oh, the Republican candidate in the 8th Congressional District for the U.S. House of Representatives, as he speaks in a VFW-sponsored Charity Forum scheduled for 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, at the Charles E.
