What a good morning it is in America! 
 
All our fears have been put to rest. Our hard work has paid off. The weak, radical, decrepit leadership of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer is over.  
 
It will be a new day in Washington, D.C.  We can look forward to Donald Trump’s “Golden Age of America” with the restoration of normalcy. The America we love is back. As President Trump said last night: “America’s future will be bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger than it has ever been before.”

I am so grateful to all of our candidates—Hung Cao, Jerry Torres, Mike Van Meter, and Mike Clancy. They all worked so hard!  Our Fairfax County precincts in the 10th District narrowly went for Mike Clancy.  While we had hoped to deliver a win for Donald Trump and Hung Cao, our county remains heavily Democratic, although Trump has made steady gains since his first run in 2016.  But I am not discouraged!  Here are links for details of the statewide returns in Virginia and for Fairfax County.
 
We have started a movement. We had a record number of Republican Election Officers, over a thousand volunteers who served as poll watchers, greeters, door knockers, and phone bank callers.  For the first time ever, we implemented an absentee ballot chase and we had outstanding results—with nearly 90% of Republican absentee ballots returned! Thanks to the many people who generously supported the Fairfax GOP, we reached our fundraising goal for the year, with four months in the fiscal year still to go!

We have already started that work. We are helping to start Republican clubs in Fairfax County high schools. We are rekindling Fairfax County’s Young Republicans.  We are building out our ties with Fairfax County’s many different ethnic and national communities.

We experienced incredible enthusiasm with this election, and we are going to keep building on that momentum to elect Republican leadership for Virginia next November.  In 2021, Glenn Youngkin shocked the world by flipping Virginia red and last night President Trump pulled off one of the most epic political comebacks in history.  This is just the beginning. Join the Fairfax GOP to be a part of the next chapter in this great movement.
 
This morning on WMAL Larry O’Connor said, “You start to lose hope. You start to feel the system is rigged.” I think we did all feel this way, and now our hope is rekindled. Our sense that we can impact the system has been restored. 
 
As I visited different polling places yesterday, I was so buoyed by the volunteers I met, the precinct captains, the voters. It drove home for me the recognition that while we are outnumbered, we are far from alone.  Let’s keep standing up fearlessly for what we believe. They can shout at us, they can steal our signs, but they cannot silence us!  And we will win.
