2016 Elections

On the ballot in Virginia this year:

  • President & Vice-President – please see below for information about the Virginia Republican Presidential Primary.
  • Congress – the congressional district committees will decide the nominating process for these offices soon, and we will post the information, as well as candidates who have filed to run for office.
  • Ballot Questions – the proposed ballot questions will appear on Fairfax County Republican sample ballots on Election Day in November.

The Virginia Presidential Primary will be held on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016. Voters can vote at their normal polling location between 6 AM and 7 PM.

Voters will have the choice of 13 candidates on the ballot:

*Lindsey Graham has suspended his campaign for President but will still appear on the ballot in Virginia.
